How We Make Money
Plain Policy Guide is free to read. To pay for research, writing and hosting, the site is supported by advertising.
Advertising
We display, or may display, ads from Google AdSense and other advertising networks. These networks choose which ads to show, often based on the page you are reading and on cookies, as described in our privacy policy. Ads are labeled as advertising. We earn money when ads are shown or clicked; you never pay anything to read our guides.
Partner links
In the future we may work with insurance comparison services or other partners and earn a fee when a reader uses their services through our site. If we do, those links and placements will be clearly labeled, and this page will be updated to explain how they work.
What money does not influence
- Advertisers and partners do not write, review or approve our articles.
- They cannot pay to change what a guide says about a rule, a requirement or a company.
- Our explanations of state requirements are based on official sources, regardless of any business relationship.
We don't sell insurance
Plain Policy Guide is not an insurance company, agency or broker. We don't sell policies, collect premiums or file SR-22 or FR-44 forms.
